SYSTEMS OF TAXATION

1) PROGRESSIVE RATE OF TAXATION: This is system of taxation where the tax is been paid according to how the income the tax payer earns.

2) PROPORTIONAL RATE OF TAXATION: The percentage of tax to be paid is the same with the rich and the poor.

3) REGRESSIVE RATE OF TAXATION: The poor is to pay higher tax than the rich while the rich pay lower tax.
